  • Our Celebration begins soon with the Otter River Sportsman's Club
    sponsoring several events over the January 21-22 weekend.  Events
    include: ice sculptures, ice skating, a Christmas tree bonfire followed the
    second day with an ice fishing derby with freshly stocked trout.  If the pond
    isn't safe, the derby will be held on the ponds banks rather than on the ice.
    Minimal costs of $5 for adults and $3 for children participating in the
    fishing derby will be collected to cover costs of prizes (3 for adult / 3 for
    children).
  • Anyone with a real Christmas tree please bring it to the Otter River
    Sportsman Club to be used in the bonfire.  Remember to only leave the
    tree in the designated drop off area and trees can be left prior to the
    event.
  • The Baldwinville Legion is sponsoring a Beach Party on Saturday,
    January 28 from 7 - 11PM.  Tickets are available for $5 with occupancy
    limited to 200 so please reserve your tickets early.  Tickets are available
    at the Legion after 3PM, at Country Mischief, and from Templeton250
    Committee members.  The Legion will be decorated in a Beach Party
    theme including umbrellas, DJ, and lounge chairs.  Photography will be
    available for a minimal charge to collect memories of the evening.  Beach
    attire is recommended for the event (Hawaiian shirts, shorts, etc.)
  • All residents and non-residents are invited to the events.  We hope all the
    events planned to celebrate Templeton's 250th Anniversary grow in
    participation so everyone can enjoy the events.  As the year continues
    lets make each event bigger and better.
