  •  The fun continues with several events planned for May. On May 12, two
    events are scheduled: Jalopy races starting at 1:00PM down South Road
    in Templeton Center and a Chicken Barbeque from 7:00 to 11:00PM
    sponsored by the Templeton Fish & Gun Club.  Select Jalopy Races or
    Chicken BBQ for additional information including Jalopy Race guidelines
    and application.
  •  Civil War Re-enactment at the Henshaw farm May 18 - 20.  Debbie
    Henshaw is pulling this together with support from the Templeton250
    Committee.  Over 300 participants are expected to take part in the event
    by acting out the battles while spending the weekend living as they did in
    that historical era.  
Celebration Parade - September 16, 2012

Join us in celebrating the Town of Templeton’s 250th Anniversary with the
Templeton Celebration Parade planned for Sunday, September 16, 2012.  
The parade will begin at Narragansett Regional High School at 1:00pm and
finish at the Gilman Waite Recreational Field. Scheduled to appear in the
parade are: Antique Vehicles, Variety of Marching Bands; such as the
Boston University Marching Band, Middlesex County 4-H Fife and Drum
Corps, Ancient Mariners, American Legion Band – Waltham, and the
Narragansett Regional High School Band, just to name a few. Additional
scheduled parade participants will include Parade Entry Floats, Clowns,
“Red Sox” Wally the Green Monster, Dance Groups, Narragansett Sport
Teams, Scout Troops, and additional Entertainment.

  Templeton's 250th Anniversary has started off with a bang.
  •  The Otter River Sportsman's Club sponsored several events over the
    January 21-22 weekend.  Events included: ice sculptures, ice skating, a
    Christmas tree bonfire followed the second day with an ice fishing derby
    with freshly stocked trout.
  • The Baldwinville Legion sponsored a Beach Party on January 28.  People
    came dressed for the beach while listening to the DJ as they  enjoyed food
    and drinks.
